Atucha 1

En la clase de fisico quimica dimos presentaciones acerca de atucha 1, embalse y atucha 2. Nosotras elegimos Atucha 1

Informal Email

In the language class we revised the topic informal email.

Hi Tom!
I'm well, thanks. I have been really busy, I have a lot of work to do. I didn't write to you before because I had to do and essay.

I suggest you to add a section with information about famous people that make silly things. But you can also add a section about weird animals from different countries including yours.

I would like to do it, I think it's going to be fun. I recomend you to make it colorful and cheerful.People will like your blog if you keep titles atractive and short.

The best place to buy a good printer is next to my house, they have any type and with an affordable price, you'll love it.

kisses, Kate

Article

In language class we revised how to write an article. Then we had to look for an article on the internet and make a summary of it in Piktochart

Article:

"Pitch Perfect 2" is a stunningly hilarious sequel to its predecessor, "Pitch Perfect." The movie follows relatively the same plot as the original: It begins with an embarrassing incident involving Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) not wearing underwear, which echoes Aubrey's (Anna Camp) throwing-up fiasco from the first movie, that sets the Barden Bellas into a downward spiral of shame.
In this latest release, the Bellas are attempting to triumph over the innately talented German Das Sound Machine at the world a cappella competition so they can be reinstated as an a cappella group after their membership gets rescinded because of the Fat Amy's incident.
Despite the relatively one-dimensional plot, the movie is studded with witty one-liners and comic accidents that ensure riotous laughter the whole way through. John (John Michael Higgins) and Gail (Elizabeth Banks) return as the offensive-but-can-get-away-with-it hosts; at one point John congratulates the Bellas for being an inspiration to girls everywhere who "are too ugly to be cheerleaders."
At times, the film strayed a little too close to the offensive side with the addition of new character Florencia Fuentes (Chrissie Fit), who would pipe in every once in a while with a pretty racist one-liner relating to her struggles of being an immigrant from Mexico. Her character added a trashy element to the film that it probably could have done without. However, the movie's jokes were overall a great success.
"Pitch Perfect 2" was a witty, entertaining and lighthearted sequel to its first installment and is a must-see for anyone who enjoyed the original. It's not without its flaws, but it's a successful continuation of the story of the Barden Bellas that serves justice to the first movie.
Runtime: 115 min
Rating: PG-13
Rating: 3 out of 4 stars

Short Story

In the language class, we were asked to write a story so as to show the theory we learnt. We were asked to underline:

Five connectors
Three sequence Markens
Two examples of direct speech

Mark couldn’t believe his good luck. His real name was Markthaniel, actually. Finally, his coach of american football let him be the kicker of the team.

“Listen to me Markthaniel, you don’t have many opportunities. This is once. Take advantage of this.”

“I won’t disappoint you, coach! Neither the team.”

After this speech, Mark went to his house extremely excited. Although he could fail, he had confidence in himself. In three days, he would be playing in the super bowl, the most important final in american football. However, his team, The California Giants never won this championship and winning it would be so important that, unlike others team, they will be known all around USA.
The next two days, he worked hard and trained until he could desmay. He was prepared. The field was all for him.
The night later, through all the game, the team couldn’t do a touchdown. In consequence, Mark couldn’t kick. His team was losing in a very exciting match, with a lot of action. Fortunately, one of his partners made a touchdown. Everyone was rousing. It was Mark’s turn to kick. If he got the ball between the two sticks, his team would become champion!
Spite the confidence Mark had in himself, he was SO nervous. He failed the kick.

“And Markthaniel failed the kick! he wasn’t prepared, his team lost because he failed. We said it before: you mus’t be professional. A national disaster!” said a journalist

Mark couldn’t believe it. He couldn’t stop crying. He didn’t have to cry. Instead, he have to reflect. As a result of all the comments about him, the insults and the angriness, Mark committed suicide.
