How can we avoid crime?

Dear Editor,
In my opinion this is a very dangerous situation because crime can damage people seriously.
I am a resident of Tortuguitas and crime can happen eventually. I fully agree with the fact of warning everyone and i also agree with protecting houses and possesions.
People must install cameras so they can call the police as soon as they see a dangerous case, and in the worst of the cases in any moment. That is also to have a panic button if it is an emergency.
Because of this, many people could avoid hell. In other words we also have to be alert. For this reason you need high technology that can save you several times.

Oh Romeo Oh Romeo!

In the class of Language, we were asked to make a review taking into account the instructions that our teacher give us. This are the instructions:

What´s your opinion about the play? Why did/didn´t you like it? What did the script writers take into account when they wrote the script? Why do you think it meant a lot of work to put on this pay? What aspects do you think were taken into account? Why was the play succesful? Write an review covering the above points (150 words)

Some students from the Newlands School and a Drama Teacher, wrote a play with diverse characters from Shekaspeare for a Festival. I am going to talk about the script and characterization.

In my opinion, the script was very creative. Altough the lines were really hard and long,the students learnt averything as if they were real actors. Notable was the way it was writen. Even dough there were easy words there also very complicated sentences, especially in the soliloquies.

Personally i believe that characterization was okay. Unlike some characters, a few of them were changed like Romeo that was a gymnastic guy.

As a conclusion, i think that it was really creative and it´s a good start. It´s not the best play, but its sure is going to be a great succes for the future.

Yo quiero tener 42 amigos

En la clase de TIC, trabajamos con matemática. Tuvimos que elegir una historia de Pequeño LdN, nosotras elegimos la historia "Yo quiero tener 42 amigos". Elegimos esa historia ya que es entretenido y nos gustó la manera que usa el personaje para explicar. Luego de haber elegido la historia tuvimos que copiarla en un Word, donde también pusimos todas las historias elegidas por nuestros compañeros siguiendo una serie de pasos, donde decía que tipo de fuente, tamaño, etc. Este en nuestro trabajo, trabajé con Lola. 

Billenium

In Literature, prose, we read a story called "Billenium". Then we discuss it all together and we did some activities about the themes, the tone, etc. from the story. Finally we had to make a presentation with different information such as the relevance of the title, some information about the author, etc. I worked with Lola and this is our presentation.

La Aldea

La Aldea

En la clase de lengua vimos una película llamada "La Aldea". Luego aprendimos el significado de focalización y sus tipos. Después, en grupos, elegimos dos escenas de la película cuya focalización debía ser una externa y otra interna. Acá está nuestro trabajo, trabajé con Lola, Cecilia y Carolina.

Escena de focalización interna:
Escena de un casamiento donde un personaje llamado Ivy, que sufre de ceguera y ella puede escuchar ciertos sonidos que no todos escuchan. En este caso ella escucha un grito.

Escena de focalización externa:
Escena de un personaje llamado Noah, muriendo y siendo enfocado desde arriba.
